2017 Week 3 NFL Fantasy Picks and Lineups

2017 NFL Week 3 Fantasy Football Picks

FanDuel and DraftKings Week 1 PicksOverall last week we made a profit with Tom Brady lighting up the Saints and some of our other fantasy picks picked up the slack for guys like Larry Fitzgerald who was high ownership but proved to be a bust.

Last week also saw a lot of NFL players go down with injury - some are out for sure like Greg Olsen and some you'll have to keep an eye on all week for updates like Gronk, Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson.

Our list of NFL Week 3 Fantasy Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel are players that we will have in a bunch of our fantasy lineups for the two big fantasy contests and some guys that we'll have in cash games too. If you truly want to get some expert picks for fantasy football I would suggest you try out RotoQL. It's a site run by Saahil Sud, formerly known as Maxdalury who is arguably the #1 DFS fantasy player on the planet. He now shares his research (for a price) and many players swear by his results. FanDuel Fantasy Picks for the Sunday Million

QB – Quarterback Picks

Cam Newton $8,100 – Although I am not a huge Cam Newton fan...he is better than this! Now he gets to go home and face a pourous defence in the Saints who will try to outscore the Panthers to win. Newton has lost his favorite target Greg Olsen but he should have a nice bounce back game in week 3.

Jay Cutler $7,400 – Cutler last week actually looked like a good QB and this week facing the horrible NY Jets he could end up looking like a Hall of Fame QB. I don't expect massive numbers from Cutler but he should get a chance to build some confidence in the offense by airing it out a bit to take advantage of the Jets. He's a good play for a FanDuel Sunday Million lineup.

RB – Running Back Picks

Chris Thompson $5,600 - All signs point to Redskins starter Rob Kelley being out with bad ribs. Although rookie Samaje Perine looks to be next in line, Thompson played well in week 2 and is better at catching the ball. Playing the Raiders in NFL week 3 might mean that Thompson's talent and usage will be needed more.

Tarik Cohen $5,600 – Don't take Cohen for his rushing yards this week. Facing the Steelers I expect the Bears to play catch up all game and no real time to grind the ball. The Bears receivers are all hurt and Cohen has become a favorite target of Glennon's with 9 targets and 8 receptions in week 2. Jordan Howard also seems to be injured which means Cohen might be the man this week for everything.

WR – Wide Receiver Picks

A.J. Green $7,500 – If Andy Dalton can't get him the ball, AJ Green can't score! Facing the Packers this week I see the Bengals TD woes come to an end and AJ Green could put up some big numbers if Dalton gets his S%#T together!

Kelvin Benjamin $6,600 – I'm stacking Benjamin with Newton this week and hoping that without Olsen, this QB-WR combo gets me the "Benjamin's" that will make me rich!

TE – Tight End Picks

Martellus Bennett $5,600 – With all the injuries for the Packers, Bennett may have to become a new weapon of Rodgers'. He had 11 targets in week 2 so this could be a nice game for Bennett with better fantasy results.

Defense

Cleveland Browns $4,400 – This might be the first time in history that anyone has recommended the Browns defense for anything fantasy related but facing a horrible Colts team and having played "OK" the first two weeks the Browns may be worth a play. If you don't like paying for defense then go with the Browns, if you want to spend a bit more look at someone like the Dolphins who are facing the Jets.

QB – Quarterback Picks

Deshone Kizer $5,000 – Facing the Colts this week, if you want to spend salary cap money on other positions then take a flier on Kizer. He left week 2's game with a migraine and generally looked bad but was good in week 1 and this is a great game to build up a young QB's confidence.

Andy Dalton $5,100 – Dalton won't be looked at by many given how bad he's been but he is a cheap price facing a bad defense in the Packers. I expect this game to be a bit of a shootout and eventhough Dalton could throw a couple of picks...he could have a monster day and he's a low cost GPP play.

RB – Running Back Picks

Jay Ajayi $7,700 – I loved Ajayi last week and he did everything I wanted...except score a TD. I expect the Dolphins to run Ajayi all day against the Jets and hopefully give him a TD opportunity too.

Ty Montgomery $6,900 – This could be my favorite fantasy pick at DraftKings this week depending in the health of Cobb and Nelson. If neither are playing I am going all in on Montgomery who could possibly lead the Packers in both rushing and receiving yards. Monitor the news from Green Bay all week.

WR – Wide Receiver Picks

Davante Adams $5,600 – I've mentioned it a few times on this page but Cobb and Nelson may be injured and out for week 3 (keep an eye on the injury news this week). Regardless, Adams is a solid WR regardless and the Packers will be throwing against the Bengals. Adams is a WR1 if the others are out but a solid pick anyway if they are playing.

Rashard Higgins – $4,000 – He could be highly owned now that it is confirmed that Corey Coleman is out with a broken hand. Higgins and Kizer looked good together and playing against the Colts...who knows what numbers could be put up. Higgins/Kizer stack isn't a horrible play in week 3.

TE – Tight End Picks

Zach Miller $3,000 - If you are looking for a cheap TE or even a FLEX option then Miller is worth a look. With the Bears wideouts all hurt, Miller is getting more targets and this week they will be playing from behind once against facing the Steelers. A good value pick for DraftKings this week.

Defense

Miami Dolphins $3,700 – Facing the Jets I expect the Dolphins to grind out a win this week and I don't see the Jets having a lot of chances to score and the potential is there also that the Jets start to turn the ball over. I like every defense against the Jets in 2017!
