FanDuel and DraftKings Fantasy Picks for this Week

QB – Quarterback Picks

Drew Brees – DK $7,400 - FD $8,500 – Drew Brees is playing at home against a team that they lost to a few weeks ago. This is their chance for revenge and this should be the game that most fantasy players are choosing guys from.

Jameis Winston - DK - $6,500 - FD $8,000 – The other QB in the Saints/Bucs game, at a lower salary cap cost is Winston. He should be able to light up the Saints secondary and stacked with Mike Evans he could have a monster game.

Derek Carr - DK $6,800 - FD $8,100 – Carr has been pretty average lately but facing a weak Colts team at home I like Carr to put up a bunch of points on Saturday.

RB – Running Back Picks

Todd Gurley - DK $6,500 - FD $7,900 - Gurley is facing a bad 49ers team and with Jared Goff possibly out with a concussion the Rams may have to go back to Keenum. No matter who’s in at QB, Gurley will get the chance to run all day.

LeSean McCoy - DK - $9,000 - FD $9,100 – We liked McCoy to go off last week and we were right. This week facing the Dolphins at home McCoy will once again be looking at a heavy work load to control the clock.

Jordan Howard - DK $6,300 - FD $7,200 – The risk with Howard is that the Bears could fall behind to the Redskins. The bonus is that Howard can be used no matter what the situation is and the Bears should keep things close enough to keep Howard valuable this week.

WR – Wide Receiver Picks

Mike Evans - DK $8,500 - FD $8,900 – As mentioned, stack him with Jameis Winston for Week 16.

Michael Thomas - DK $6,000 - FD $6,900 – You can also look at Cooks to pair with Brees but Thomas had more targets last week and Thomas is a lower cost than Cooks. They should both do well on Saturday; the question is...which will be better?

Cameron Meredith - DK $4,700 - FD $5,500 – Meredith started to connect nicely with Matt Barkley and the Bears got back their big WR weapon Alshon Jeffery. Redskins Josh Norman will most likely cover Jeffery leaving Meredith the opportunity to collect targets all day.

TE – Tight End Picks

Jimmy Graham - DK $4,500 - FD $6,200 – He has been a horrible pick the last 2 weeks but he’s due for a breakout game. In week 7 these 2 teams played one of the worst NFL games ever resulting in a 6-6 tie but in the 4th quarter Graham started to make some waves and score fantasy points. Could be his bounce back week.

Jordan Reed - DK $5,500 - FD $7,000 – Reed is hurt so he is a bit of a speculative pick given that he didn’t look very good on Monday night. He is a great option against the Bears but many will stay away from him because of injury. Watch his status all week.

Defense

LA Rams - DK $3,500 - FD $4,900 – Rams have a good defense so facing a bad 49ers team gives them the opportunity to score some points.

New England Patriots - DK $3,600 - FD $5,000 –The Jets are a mess and the Patriots are leaning on their defense to win games. Nice recipe for success.
